Job Description:

We seek a creative and enthusiastic individual to join our engineering team to design electrical controls for robotic packaging systems. The individual must be a self-starter and an inventive problem solver.

Responsibilities:

  • Design of control systems, panel lay out and creating bill of materials
  • Communicate with programmers and mechanical design engineers to discuss details of the controls

Requirements:

  • A BS degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience in design and manufacturing with preferable experience in palletizing, case loading and packaging systems.
  • Experience in AutoCad design tools is a must
  • Familiar with Allen Bradley CompactLogix PLC, Ethernet communication and Panelview Plus
  • Must have strong background and ability to independently develop system design
  • Experience/understanding of robotic systems would be a plus
  • Team player

Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Description:

We seek a creative and enthusiastic individual to join our team of robot programmers for packaging systems. The individual must be independent and an innovative problem-solver with the ability to quickly understand the process flow of mechanical systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Design of PLC, Robotic, and HMI programs
  • Programming and testing of packaging cells at Flexicell and start up at the customer's facility

Requirements:

  • BS or comparable amount of specialty training and OEM experience.
  • Experience in PLC and/or robot programming with preferable experience in palletizing, case loading and packaging systems.
  • Programming of Allen Bradley PLCs and Panelviews and FANUC and/or Kuka robots.
  • Team player requiring little supervision.
  • Willing to travel within the USA and Canada.
