Job Description:
Manage all aspects of our customer service division, to include installation, start-up, aftermarket spare part sales and service visits.
Responsibilities:
- Effectively manage the transfer of new equipment to the customer once the internal FAT has been completed and the customer takes delivery of the equipment. Ensure that the customer accepts the machine in the field, signs off accordingly and makes the final payment.
- Manage a team responsible for the installation and startup of our equipment at the customer’s location.
- Maintain a time schedule for installation, startups and service visits.
- Manage a team of service technicians, with a goal of achieving 70% time utilization in the field or against chargeable work.
- Manage aftermarket spare parts sales, with a focus on providing the customer base immediate response and timely delivery, developing spare parts lists for new machines and providing solutions for up-grades and retro fits to the existing customer base. Balance inventory to match customer demands.
- Work in conjunction with the Engineering Manager to ensure that any changes to installed equipment are documented and updated in a timely fashion.
- Manage the warranty account on a per machine basis.
- Manage our 24 hr. service hotline.
- Supply and coordinate telephone support for trouble shooting.
- Generate invoices for all service activities.
Requirements:
- Experience with robotics and automated packaging equipment.
- At least 5 yrs experience as a Service Manager.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Team player.
- Willing to travel as needed.
Electrical Design Engineer

We seek a creative and enthusiastic individual to join our engineering team to design electrical controls for robotic packaging systems. The individual must be a self-starter and an inventive problem solver.
Responsibilities:
- Design of control systems, panel lay out and creating bill of materials
- Communicate with programmers and mechanical design engineers to discuss details of the controls
Requirements:
- A BS degree in Electrical Engineering
- Experience in design and manufacturing with preferable experience in palletizing, case loading and packaging systems.
- Experience in AutoCad design tools is a must
- Familiar with Allen Bradley CompactLogix PLC, Ethernet communication and Panelview Plus
- Must have strong background and ability to independently develop system design
- Experience/understanding of robotic systems would be a plus
