 Marketing Coordinator

Job Status: Full-time
Location: Ashland, VA

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the implementation of the Company's Marketing Plan with the support of a Strategic Marketing Manager and 3rd party marketing specialist(s) to complement Coordinators experience and skill set.

  • Maintain and create content for company’s website and social media pages.
  • Researches industry verticals and identifies associations and partners for lead generation.
  • Maintains and expands the company’s customer and prospect databases for regular email campaigns.
  • Manages press list and makes recommendations for Advertising, PR and Editorial Opportunities.
  • With the sales and technical team, create white papers, case studies and blog content.
  • Coordinate industry trade shows.
  • Responsible for the creation and printing of all sales and marketing materials, presentations, literature sheets, brochures, data sheets, etc.
  • Manage video library and assist in production of new video content.
  • Directly, or through 3rd party, manage SEO, sponsored content, adwords, digital strategy and monitoring company’s digital presence and reputation.
  • Work closely with sales team and outside marketing partners to make sure objectives are met.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Most work is performed in the employer’s workplace, occasional travel to tradeshows and marketing support partners required.

 QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED: 

  • A. or B.S degree in communication, advertising, marketing, computer science, or related field.
  • 3-5 years experience in a marketing role, including digital marketing.

 ESSENTIAL COMPETENCIES:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including copy writing.
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office, Google Apps,)
  • Thorough knowledge of Social Media (LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, etc)
  • Exceptional Organization and Planning skills.
  • Basic Graphic Design Skills

ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING ARE PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED:

  • In depth knowledge of Adobe Creative, Video Editing software, etc.
  • Experience with SEO, SMO and Adwords
  • Familiarity with one or more programs: Sales Force, ACT, Constant Contact, Mailchimp, etc.
  • Experience in Web-based graphic design or web interface design
  • Understanding and basic proficiency of the latest web technologies and trends, i.e., HTML, CSS, Javascript, WordPress, PHP

Sr. Mechanical Engineer

Job Status: Full-time
Location: Ashland, VA

 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (Responsibilities will include but not be limited to   the following)

  •  Design and detail new products and make improvements to existing                         products utilizing 2D/3D design software.
  • Evaluate products, parts or processes for reliability and cost efficiency.
  • Ensure form/fit/function of all mechanical and electrical assemblies released for production.
  • Organize and plan project design strategy and assign design tasks to Jr. Mechanical Engineers who are assigned to the project.
  • Provide weekly status report of project deliverables to the Engineering Manager.
  • Communication with electrical/controls engineers to develop controls plan.
  • Mentoring/Developing junior engineers in design considerations and practices.

 Ability to conceptualize ideas and design from blank page without supervision.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Follow safe work procedures and practices to promote an injury- and incident-free workplace.
  • Perform other duties and assignments as required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Most work is performed in the employer's workplace. Occasional travel will be necessary to conduct customer site visits to verify design constraints as well as tradeshow and seminar visits.
  • Occasional use of basic hand tools for design modifications and part fitment adjustments.

ESSENTIAL COMPETENCIES:

  • Proficiency using SolidWorks and AutoCAD Design Software.
  • Proficiency using EPDM Part Management Software .
  • Proficiency using Fishbowl Inventory Management Software .
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Organizational Skills.
  • Effective communication skills.

QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED:

  • B.S. Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience working in design and manufacturing principles related to automated equipment
  • Understanding of robotic systems would be a plus.

 Controls Engineer/Robot Programmer

Job Status: Full-time
Location: Ashland, VA

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  (Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following)

  • Conceptual design/implementation of PLC ladder logic, robot programs, and Human
  • Machine Interface (HMI) development.
  • Communication with electrical/controls engineers to develop controls plan.
  • Programming/Testing of robotic systems at Flexicell facility as well as field start-up at customer facilities.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Follow safe work procedures and practices to promote an injury-and incident-free workplace.
  • Perform other duties and assignments as required.

WORK  ENVIRONMENT:

  •  The Controls Engineer/Robot Programmer will conduct work at the company location as well as the customer’s workplace.  Travel approximately 20-30%.

 QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED:

  •  Experience with Rockwell Studio Designer, RSLogix 5000, Factory Talk View and FANUC robots is a must. Experience with other PLC platforms would be a bonus.
  • Experience programming automated palletizing, case packing, and material handling systems is preferred.
  • Ability to conceptualize ideas and design from blank page without supervision.
  • Willing to travel within the USA and Canada.
