Flexicell is a Pearson Packaging Systems Company. Pearson Packaging Systems, based in Spokane, WA, is searching for a Director of Project Management who will manage the entire project management staff including the hiring, scheduling, terminating, compensation, and performance evaluation. Additionally, the ideal candidate will provide employee professional growth through mentoring and training that focuses on successful customer experiences.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Directing all phases of project management, focusing on key areas like scope, budget, schedule, quality, and risk management
  • Positively influencing teams to solve execution/silo problems and build interdepartmental connections
  • Reporting to and acting as strategic advisor and liaison to the Chief Operations Officer (COO) and provide weekly project status reports
  • Planning and managing the department’s budget, including approving expenditures or budget transfers
  • Participate as a member of the Leadership Team


  • BS Degree in Project Management, Business, Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in a leadership role in Project Management, Business, Engineering or related field
  • PMP certification and/or ongoing PMP education
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
  • Experience in CAD and/or ERP systems preferred
  • Proven expert-level analytical and strategic solutions skills
  • Ability to motivate and negotiate with employees, management, and customers to take desired action
  • Organize and lead cross-functional meetings and people in a professional manner
  • Innate capability to create order out of chaos in a fast-paced environment with dynamic priorities
