Description

The Project Manager (PM) is a highly motivated individual that manages the overall success of projects  by ensuring core machinery, custom machinery, and aftermarket sales are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Work with customers to define project requirements for Order Specification Documents (OSD), conduct regular project status meetings, and successfully manage relationships from purchase order through system commissioning
  • Develop detailed project plans with phase gating to monitor and track project schedule, cost, and scope throughout the project’s lifecycle
  • Coordinate internal resources and third-party involvement by coaching, mentoring, and supervising team members and encouraging proactive action and accountability for assigned work
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and ensure all project information is accurately documented, shared, and secured
  • Report on project development to executive management and stakeholders
  • Identify and resolve issues and changes in project scope, schedule and cost
  • Conduct project post mortems and creating recommendation reports to identify best practices and improvements

Qualifications

  • B.S. Degree or equivalent experience (experience in Engineering a plus)
  • PMP certification and/or ongoing PMP education required
  • Working knowledge of project methodologies
  • Innate capability to create order out of chaos in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, fluid environment with ever-changing priorities
  • Capable of working on concurrent projects and able to communicate, written and verbal, clearly and effectively to executive and business audiences
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
