Flexicell, A Pearson Packaging Systems Company, focuses exclusively on solving automation challenges using robotics. Pearson, headquartered in Spokane, WA is hiring for a Regional Sales Manager to oversee — and be ideally located in one of — the following states: PA, VA, DE, MD, TN, WV. This individual will be responsible for developing new accounts and handling all sales activities, including territory planning, prospecting, presentations, proposals, contract negotiations and closing tasks. They will maintain accurate sales forecasts and update sales records daily using Pearson’s preferred methodologies to meet unit and dollar sales targets within a given region.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS/MBA in a related discipline or equivalent education/experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in direct sales of packaging equipment
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize consultative selling strategies and tactics in a competitive sales environment
  • Track record of meeting aggressive sales objectives
  • Ability to regularly work extended hours (50+ hours per week)
  • Approx. 70% travel time expected
